But a financial freedom requires you to take careful planning and the discipline to follow through. By following four simple steps, you can create your own consolidation plan without spending extra money.


Step 1-Determine Your Debt Amount


-Make a list of your currect debts, including credit card, personal loans, car loans, hire purchase, and other payments (such as fines).

-Add up all your debts to know the total debt amount.

-Obtain the current balance, monthly payment and interest rate of these debts.

-Add up all your monthly payment on these debt to know your total monthly payments.

-When you are shopping for loan, please consider the factors of loan processing fee and early repayment fees.


Step 3-Commit to a Timeframe


-Determine how much you can afford every month. An important tip is that you do not overcommit yourself on the loan repayment. For example, you think that you can afford $800/M on the loan repayment. In fact, you can only put 700/M on the loan agreement in case of any emergency or you can use these funds as lump sum to your loan.

-Determine how long the loan will be paid off by sticking to this payment.
